The Segerstrom Center for the Arts includes the 2,000-seat Segerstrom Concert Hall and the 500-seat Samueli Theatre, along with two rehearsal spaces, a restaurant, a founders' room and stunning lobby spaces. The Concert Hall has three silver-leafed canopies, four reverberation chambers and 128 concrete and wood doors which provide variable acoustics to accommodate many types of performances from symphony orchestra to solo instrumentalists and vocalists both with and without amplification.
Kerry, during his tenure as VP of Operations for the Orange County Performing Arts Center, accepted appointment as Project Director for this expansion effort. During the project Kerry was responsible for coordinating redevelopment efforts with ongoing performance and operational missions in collaboration with Fluor, the Construction Manager.
Damian was the Principal Acoustical Designer of this facility and oversaw all aspects of its design and construction while he was President of Artec.
