Damian was one of four principal consultants of the Sound of Jazz Joint Venture responsible for the acoustics and theatre design of Jazz at Lincoln Center's entire facility. The venue includes an 1,100-1,230 flexible seating auditorium, an 140-person jazz club, a 600-seat amphitheatre - the iconic Allen Room - an education center and rehearsal spaces. These spaces extend Lincoln Center's capability to host a variety of events from intimate ensembles, opera and jazz orchestras, to banquet and reception functions.
Jazz at Lincoln Center performance and education facility at Columbus Circle provides over 20 educational programs year-round that reach more than 50,000 people directly. There are programs for toddlers, families and school groups, advanced students through Julliard Institute for Jazz Studies, adult education, and educator workshops. It is estimated another 4 million people worldwide benefit through curricula, print music and online education.
