Built in 1929 by the Loews movie chain and designed by John Emerson, the spectacular interior of this movie palace resembles a Moorish castle. This major renovation included the replacement of the technical systems, expansion of the stagehouse as well as the complete refurbishment of the auditorium itself. New lighting positions were added to suit modern technical needs with a great deal of sensitivity to the historic interior. Alec left CCTD to join FDA prior to the completion of construction.
