Micah joins Stages Consultants with over 15 years of lighting system and technical theatre experience. Micah brings a unique understanding of entertainment and architectural controls systems, dimming systems, integration, and construction.
Micah's current projects with Stages Consultants include systems design for the Centre for Arts and Communications at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB, for Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, NJ, and for Madison High School in Madison, NJ. Micah is also working on the systems design for a new 350-seat cabaret theatre and an 800-seat arts center, both in Miami Beach, FL.
Prior to joining Stages Consultants, Micah designed lighting systems at Fisher Dachs Associates for Charleston's Gaillard Auditorium; Maison Symphonique de Montreal; the new School of Music at University of Iowa; Lincoln Center's new 112-seat theatre, the Claire Tow; and the award-winning Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.
Micah previously worked as a Field Project Coordinator for Electronic Theatre Controls, a leading dimming and controls manufacturer. His notable clients included the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, ESPN, Carnegie Hall, Washington DC's Newseum, The Weather Channel, and Studio 54.
Micah received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology, with an emphasis in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
