
Bob Jenista
Bob Jenista has more than 10 years’ experience working in technical theatre, teaching courses in both acting and technical theatre, as well as seven years’ experience working in the theatre planning industry. Bob serves as Stages’ BIM Manager. His tenacity, meticulousness, and experience detailing theatrical systems including stage rigging, lighting, and coordinating CAD and BIM resources make him a key asset to the Stages’ team, and the smooth coordination of our projects.
Bob’s current projects with Stages include project management for Beacon Communities Rotunda in Pittsburgh, PA; JP Stevens High School in Edison, NJ; Venice Theatre in Venice, FL; a PAC safety study at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY; and the Academic Arts Infrastructure Improvements at SUNY Westchester in Valhalla, NY; as well as work on the Weehawken Performing Arts Center in Weehawken, NJ; Canton Palace Theatre in Canton, OH; Cranbury Middle School in Cranbury, NJ; Kenton City Schools in Etna, OH; Newark School of Architecture in Newark, NJ; several performing arts spaces across the massive new Oakridge Mall development in Vancouver, BC; and the renovation of the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in New Bedford, MA.
Prior to joining Stages, Bob served as a Theatre Specialist and later as a Theatre Consultant for Schuler Shook’s Dallas office. His notable projects included Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, AL; Don Tyson School of Innovation in Springdale, AR; San Benito CISD Performing Arts Center in San Benito, TX; and Mustang High School Performing Arts Center in Mustang, OK.
Bob received a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated cum laude. Bob received his Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Technology from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bob serves as adjunct faculty at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
