It is a community center for the arts offering theatre, music, film and children’s programming throughout the year. The Prince Theatre originally opened as the New Lyceum movie theater in 1928. It was sold to C.E. Prince in 1957 and operated as a cinema until 1991. The Prince Theater has been operating as a community theater since 2002 and was renovated in 2011. It seats about 250 patrons.

Stages’ scope of work included providing an existing conditions report and needs assessment of the theatre.
