Queens College would like to renovate an existing space on campus to accommodate a Digital Film Theatre, which would be a state-of-the-art cinema to host the college’s international film series, enhancing faculty research and creative ability and to be a venue to host regular screenings to provide cultural experiences to the college and local community alike. In addition, they wish to repurpose existing music spaces to create a control room for recording capabilities, to install new finishes to obtain better sound attenuation, for the use of the students and faculty. Stages provided theatre planning and acoustics for this study, working with Nelligan White Architects.
