The North Shore School District 122 board approved a plan to spend $75M to renovate two middle schools in its district - Northwood Junior High School and Edgewood Middle School. Both schools received LEED for Schools Silver accreditation, and Stages’ acoustics scope included room acoustics, noise control for new HVAC systems, and isolation for both schools. At Northwood, the cafeteria was converted to a dedicated a multi-purpose room with a raised stage and a music classroom wing was added. At Edgewood, the existing auditorium was renovated, and music classrooms were added. These projects were completed for the 2021-22 school year.
