PROJECT DETAIL
George School is a private Quaker boarding and day preparatory school in Newtown, PA. The Walton Center, which has a 600-seat main stage and a smaller, green room stage, hosts both student and department led theatre productions. Stages joined Mills + Schnoering Architects to study the facility, planning a multi-phase renovation of the theatres and support spaces. Stages focused on the stage lighting controls system, stage lighting fixtures, AV and rigging systems, as well as advising on seating and architectural issues. The seating was replaced over the summer in 2015, and work continues on this phased renovation.
