Walter Productions is home to Walter the Bus, a two-to-one scale replica Classic VW Bus and a fixture at performance venues such as Burning Man, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands festivals. Stages was contracted to commission a programming study, and then to design a venue to host home events for Walter the Bus, Kalliope – a 3-story mobile dance party, and Heathen – a pyrotechnics display vehicle. The Walter Studios event space will evoke the creative nature of the space, while allowing flexibility in the space’s configuration and capacity depending on the day’s event. This project is in design.
