PROJECT DETAIL
The University of Akron, in conjunction with downtown Akron and the Akron Civic Commons, plans to renovate the Polsky Building into an interdisciplinary arts center with a large in the round events space used for dance performances, a learning center and a retail café, as well as a small space suitable for both rehearsals and literature readings. The center will also include a large gallery for the Myers School of Art. Stages’ scope includes theatre planning and acoustics. This project is in design.
