PROJECT DETAIL
The College Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati is a professional training program housed in a complex of studios, teaching spaces and shops, as well as five performance venues designed to provide students and faculty with innovative educational and performance spaces. Stages, along with Champlin Architecture helped them achieve their goal of updating their technical systems to provide state-of-the-art facilities for their students and faculty. The renovations were undertaken while the building was in use. The renovated facilities provide students, faculty and staff with safe work and performance environments as well as a broad range of systems and equipment to learn on. Work included updating the seating, rigging, lighting and audio-visual systems for the Corbett Auditorium and Martha Cohen Studio Theatre. Acoustics and performance lighting systems were addressed in the Patricia Corbett Theatre, and the recital halls. New facility-wide AV systems were provided. The project opened January 2018.
