Sean E. Lough
Sean Lough comes to Stages as the Director of Business Development with two decades of strategic marketing and business development experience and a diverse background in the performing arts. He focuses on strengthening and building the firm’s engagement strategies with national and international industry partners and identifying and attaining new project opportunities.
Prior to Stages, Sean oversaw content marketing for the B2B and B2C divisions of the Royal Bank of Canada. He’s worked with global brands like Lane Construction-Webuild S.p.A., Bacardi, and Ente nazionale idrocarburi, and was business development director at The Wall Street Journal & Dow Jones International, where he created programs for Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Sean’s passion for well-planned and designed performance spaces is deeply personal and professional. After joining Actors’ Equity Association at a young age, he toured extensively across the U.S. and Canada. He is a member of the League of American Orchestras, League of Historic American Theatres, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the CDC Theatre in New Jersey. For eight years, he taught marketing and business communications at NYU. He received a Bachelor of English Composition (cum laude) with an emphasis in Music from Loyola University of New Orleans.
