Rutgers Prep is the oldest independent, private college preparatory school in New Jersey, with enrollment of approximately 650 K-12 students. Holley Hall is used daily as a classroom for acting, movement and directing classes for the Middle and Upper Schools and is the performance venue for two yearly mainstage drama productions. Stages studied and presented options for a scalable renovation and provided recommendations for theatrical functionality and stage equipment upgrade and improvement, which included modular layout and phased equipment replacement. This study was completed in 2020. In 2022, RPS proceeded with the renovation to their black box theatre. This project completed for the 2022-2023 school year.
