The 475-seat Tishman Auditorium, named by ABC News as “One of the world’s most powerful rooms,” has hosted public figures, world leaders, and a wide range of university events since opening in 1931. Designed by architect Joseph Urban, the venue is located within the university’s iconic New York City headquarters building.

Stages is providing theatre planning, acoustics, and audio-visual design services for a comprehensive modernization of the venue, including upgrades to seating, rigging, draperies, lighting, and AV infrastructure, while supporting the continued functionality and historic character of the space.

This project is in design.
