Sinclair Community College has seen a recent spike in both degrees rewarded in theatre performance and theatre technology as well as their audience, which increased to nearly 10, 000 patrons attending music and theatre performances last season. Blair Hall Theatre renovations were long overdue, as the theatre had not been touched since its opening in 1973. Stages’ Phase 1 scope included replacing the Blair Hall Theatre’s forestage rigging and orchestra pit lift and relocating the organ amplifier. This project completed construction in time for the school year’s start in August 2018. In 2022, Stages’ Phase 2 scope included replacing the fire curtain and its rigging.
