The Peace Center, which opened in 1990, hosts over 300 events per year, including classical music, dance, live music, and touring Broadway performances. It is home to several companies in residence – the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, the Carolina Ballet Theatre, the South Carolina Children’s theatre, Greenville Corale and International Ballet, among others. Stages has enjoyed multiple projects with the Peace Center, studying and planning several upgrades to their facilities, operations, and systems, including the renovation of the Wyche Pavilion, house and work lighting upgrades for the 300-seat Gunter Theatre, and new audio and lighting for the 2,100-seat Concert Hall. We’ve conducted studies for the Roe Coach Factory, Markley, and Gullick Buildings.
Stages possesses a comprehensive knowledge of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and the latest theatrical and acoustical design principles. This expertise coupled with their connections within the industry have given the Peace Center ongoing access to a wealth of resources.”
