Flint’s Capitol Theatre, an Eberson-designed movie palace dating back to 1928, was recently renovated, and restored to a beautiful aesthetic. Stages was contracted after the renovation to make enhancements that affected the operational functionality of the venue including the audience chamber room acoustical design, performance sound and communication systems, video and cinema projection and the installation of an orchestra pit lift. Stages provided acoustics, theatre planning and audio-visual design. This project opened in September 2018.
Alec has served as a crucial consultant for me for close to two decades at numerous locations and on multiple projects. Moreover, the team that he has assembled at Stages has made that firm our “go to” resource since its inception five years ago.”
