The Gates-Abegglen Theatre has not had a major renovation since its construction in 1969. The renovation of the theatre will revise the stage and audience spaces enhancing the performance and viewing experiences as well as making the venue appropriate for a broader array of performance types. The renovation will include a reconfiguration of the stage, reconstruction of the audience layout, new lighting, curtain systems, a dedicated rehearsal space, and control booths. The lobbies and public amenities will be improved. Stages’ scope included theatre planning, acoustics and audio visual design. This project completed concept design and is awaiting funding.
