The Labuda Center for the Performing Arts is the mainstage for DeSales University, and includes a 473-seat theatre and a 187-seat theatre. The Shakespeare Touring Company, comprised of senior acting majors, and the DeSales Dance Touring Company perform to visiting elementary schools. Stages studied the replacement of the 30 stage traps in 2016, and in 2017, was contracted to design a new stage floor, new stage traps and pit filler platforms. The stage improvements were installed in January 2018.
