PROJECT DETAIL
The Cranbury School District’s residents approved a referendum to renovate their middle school, which had not embarked on a large-scale renovation in about 20 years. The district is renovating the science classrooms, creating an academic commons with makerspace areas and a newly designed media center, and renovating an existing auditorium to create a Center for Arts Education. Replacing a combined gym and existing auditorium space, which was cramped with limited visibility for stage performances, the new multi-use proscenium auditorium will seat 535 people. The Center for Arts Education will have additional storage and dressing rooms and is planned to serve the community as well as the students. Stages’ scope includes theatre planning. This project is under construction.
