Choate Rosemary Hall is a private co-ed college preparatory boarding school founded in 1890. With an enrollment of approximately 850 students, it has a rigorous academic curriculum with an emphasis on character formation at the core of the school’s mission. Stages, working with EDM Studio, was hired to study the living room space at Phoebe House, a faculty residence, to make recommendations to mitigate excessive reverberation and loudness during large group gatherings at the facility. This study was completed in 2023. Stages is also providing acoustics consulting for a temporary dining facility housed in a former student activity building, working with Apicella + Bunton Architects.
