The Christina School District is constructing a new 1-8th grade school, the first new city school in nearly 50 years — an important step for the city of Wilmington to modernize their schools. Unlike most school construction projects, the replacement for The Bancroft School will be fully funded by the state. Stages’ scope includes theatre planning and audio-visual systems design for the 600-seat middle school theatre and support spaces. Currently in construction, this project is planned to open for the 2024-25 school year.
