The new Freedom Mobile Arch is designed to be Vancouver’s iconic destination for live performance. The indoor-outdoor venue can accommodate up to 10,000 spectators in a flexible mix of bleachers, floor seating, and VIP experiences, and can be quickly reconfigured to scale down to a more intimate setting for 2,000–4,000 guests. With world-class acoustics and sightlines, hospitality zones, and operational layouts that improve utilization, the new amphitheatre will extend Vancouver’s performance season and significantly expand its programming. Beyond anchoring the annual PNE Fair, it is expected to host the FIFA Fan Festival, 50 major concerts and events each year, plus an additional 25 not-for-profit community gatherings, cementing its role as both a cultural landmark and a civic resource.
Stages is providing theatre planning, acoustics, and audio-visual design, ensuring every performance resonates with clarity, power, and impact. This project is now under construction.
