Oakridge Centre

Oakridge Centre is a cornerstone shopping mall which has been continually renovated and updated since it was built in the 1950s. Oakridge is being reimagined as a major cultural hub and new town centre for the City of Vancouver. This expansion will double the centre’s retail size, and include a series of residential buildings, as well as a dance school, a world class performing arts academy, a music venue, performance spaces and a community centre. It is envisioned as a vibrant, sustainable, and culturally diverse community that will attract visitors from all over metro Vancouver and beyond. Stages’ scope includes theatre planning and acoustics for the living room mixing chamber and its supporting spaces. Oakridge Centre opened Phase 1 in 2024, with substantial completion in 2027.
