The University of Central Florida is beginning work on the Performing Arts Complex Phase II project which will expand UCF’s music and theatre departments. The 122,800-square-foot facility will include flexible performance spaces – the Visionary Soundstage will contain a 1,000-seat venue and several black boxes which can be combined to form spaces of varied sizes to host a variety of events for these departments. Also, this space will support the new Themed Experience track in the Theatre Masters of Fine Arts Program. Stages’ scope includes theatre planning, acoustics, and audio-visual design. This project is in design.
