Olana was the 19th century home and studio of artist Frederic Edwin Church and his family. The Frederic Church Center for Art and Landscape is a new 4,600 sq. ft. mass timber state-of-the-art building that deepens the public’s connection to the Hudson Valley and enables growth with ticketing, display areas, a multipurpose room, café, restrooms, parking, and outdoor terraces. Stages’ scope of work included acoustics and audio-visual designs for the multi-purpose room and related spaces, as well as recommendations for sound isolation and noise control from external and internal noise sources. This project opened in October 2024.
