Filling Pembroke Pines’ need for a downtown city center, the Pembroke Pines City Center opened in April 2017. The modern, four-story, flexible-use structure hosts plays, conferences, small concerts and other performances. Stages, working alongside Cartaya and Associates, designed the main hall, which seats 3,000 and can accommodate smaller events with flexible seating.
Now renamed the Charles F. Dodge City Center, it won the Best Public/Civic Category for the South Florida Business Journal’s 2016 Structures Awards. This project opened in April 2017.
