Originally opened in 1928 and designed by noted theatre architect John Eberson, Flint’s Capitol Theatre was recently restored to highlight its historic grandeur. Following the renovation, Stages was contracted to further enhance the venue’s operational functionality. Our scope included audience chamber acoustical design, performance sound and communication systems, video and cinema projection, and the installation of a new orchestra pit lift. Stages provided acoustics, theatre planning, and audio-visual design services. The revitalized Capitol Theatre reopened in September 2018.
Alec has served as a crucial consultant for me for close to two decades at numerous locations and on multiple projects. Moreover, the team that he has assembled at Stages has made that firm our “go to” resource since its inception five years ago.”
