Foster + Partners contacted Alec (as PM for FDA) to invite him to work on their expansion of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. This project includes three spaces; a 200-seat auditorium, an 80-seat auditorium and a 550-seat music gallery. The Music Gallery is housed in a brand new building on the museum's campus and can accommodate chamber music performances by an orchestra of up to 60 players. In addition to its use as a recital hall, the upper 'gallery' level's walls will be lined with masterpieces from the Pushkin's collection.
